Holocaust Education Inservice June 3rd

A partnership between the Samuel Bak Museum: The Learning Center, BLIXT ARTS LAB, UNL Harris Center for Judaic Studies, History Nebraska, Institute for Holocaust Education, Nebraska Department of Education, and the College of Saint Mary.

Join us for our Holocaust Education Inservice on MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2024 8:30 – 3:30 PM
Featuring Not Too Far Distant by Becky Boesen

This inservice will introduce educators to supplementary Holocaust education programming in Nebraska with our listed partners. Our resources will help educators build their students’ content knowledge, empathy, and critical thinking skills. Educators will gain tangible resources that can be easily integrated into their curriculum. Learning about primary sources related to the Holocaust will be a focus of this training. This inservice is open to all content areas that incorporate Holocaust education in their curriculum or those who seek to incorporate Holocaust education in their curriculum in the future.
